What you should know:
- You need a valid registration from either Vermont or any other state, plus a valid VASA Trail Access Decal affixed to the front and rear of your vehicle to participate on the VASA Trail Systems.
- In order to register your ATV in Vermont it will need to be under 1700 pounds dry-weight, and a maximum width of 64 inches. Dirt bikes and Off-Highway Motorcycles unfortunately do not fit the State’s definition of an ATV.
- Helmets are required on all VASA trails.
- Insurance is not required through the state, but most of the towns that we have connector trails with require liability insurance for use. If you will be using any of these town roads, trails or connections, you will need to have liability insurance on your machine.
